he is a horned north ronaldsay
i don't have transpot for collection but willing to pay for petrol.
can anyone please help?

Maybe it would be an idea to consider getting 2 new sheep rather than one if you have the room to keep them... just in case in the future so that you don't find yourself ending up with one on its own again?
Are you looking to buy or rehome a pet ewe for free?
If buying you could maybe go to your local livestock market - you may find a farmer there who would have an older ewe (or 2) that he would sell to you? Some of the multibreeding sales sell in pens of small numbers too and may split a pen if requested?

Hi Spikey, sorry to hear about your lonely sheep. Have you checked out the stock for sale on this thread - there may be some in your area. I have a couple of reasonably tame crossbred ewe lambs which I am unwilling to sell along with my purebred Dorsets as I don't want them going for meat. I would sell them to you as pets/breeding ewes though. I don't want a great deal for them. However, I'm in North Wales so I think it may perhaps be too much (for you financially) to bring them to Stroud. That said, you can always contact me if you can't find anything closer. Good luck!
