Title: Renting Barn?

Hi,
I am thinking forward to lambing, and I need to rent a barn as my flock has grown considerably.
I rent a fair bit of land from someone, and they have recently built a small barn which would just be ideal for lambing, and they have no real plans for it. So... how should I approach the owner about borrowing it, do people ask rent and if so whats the going price?

I would just start a conversation with the owner and see what they have to say.  The 'going rate' and what he may want for it may be two wildly different things!
