Title: Really embarrassed
Post by: Hilarysmum on September 09, 2010, 08:26:20 am
I rehomed a rescued kune kune gilt 101 days ago.  She is 3 going on 4, very overweight, had run with two kune kunes during her life and had never been known to come into season.  She stayed with us for about a month.  Our boar was at the other end of the holding with two gilts.  Uesterday morning call from the adopters.  She produced 10.  On inspection they are definitely from my boar, most have kune toggles, one has GOS colouring and toggles.  All have those pushed in faces.  The real downer is that although the owners having got over their shock are delighted with the babies, of the two pedigree GOS gilts the boar was sharing a paddock with only one got into pig.
