Title: Green tomatoes?
Post by: Helencus on September 06, 2010, 05:49:49 pm
Are green tomatoes ok to feed to pigs? I had loads planted in the garden for the pigs and they've all collapsed down so had to harvest them. Are they ok to feed to them? Should  I cook them?? Thanks!

Put them on the windowsill! (The tomatoes, not the pigs!  ;D)

My pigs loved red tomatoes, I suppose if green ones aren't good for them they probably won't eat them anyway?

Hilary adores green tomatoes, so much so that she will eat them straight off the plant if she can gain access to them.
