Title: BIG Price Rises in January ?
Post by: supplies for smallholders on September 05, 2010, 01:52:34 pm
Hi,

As you all know livestock feed is due to increase in price shortly - due to the rise in cerial prices.

Also there is the change in the VAT rate in January

Also some previously Zero VAT services will be subject to VAT in January (eg. Parcelforce deliveries)

So the knock on effect is that Food, Fuel, clothing and infact everything will be more expensive next year

Deep Joy....

So far I have had to pay out £2 more per round bale of hay, I have ordered 24 big straw bales and that I expect will cost more as well. I prefer getting it all in one go. If its a bad winter the price will go sky high like last spring when the weather was so bad.  :(
