Title: Can we eat them

Sounds silly but someone somewhere told us not to eat the first few eggs that chicckens produce ???, is that true, we now have half a dozen from our three hens and intend to feed them to our dogs, when can we eat them?

I have never heard this - we always eat the first eggs, no problem!!

Me neither. We eat them straight away and haven't come to any harm.

Thanks, we/ I will be eating loads, I think I will have to make cakes etc.
