Title: foot clippers & trimmers

Can anyone advice which foot clippers to get or are they generally the same? I see they are about £18, I will need to get some with golden hoof plus, also advice required how golden hoof plus is applied? by foot bath in a tray? or by brush?

Hi,

Golden Hoof is used in a foot bath, and the sheep need to stand in it for approx 2 mins.

As far as hoof shears are concerned we have settled on 2 types - a lightweight set for lambs and "precision" trimming and a larger serrated set for heavier cutting. We also use foot paring knives to smooth it all off after trimming.

Of course all are available on our site - Apart from Golden Hoof.
