Title: Shearing
Post by: Penninehillbilly on June 09, 2018, 02:23:39 pm
My 3 sheep shorn (sheared?) Today,  wool hasn't risen but I was worried about strike, so friend said we'd get it done, he'd had a few not risen, and also a few with strike.
When I brought the last one to him he said 'are you going to lamb her this year or just keeping her for posterity ', he looked floored when I said it was only last year's lamb, she is rather big ?.

Same here the last five of fourteen done , sheep were suffering with the heat. Lambs done with Crovect. Its funny to see the lambs not recognising their mothers but knowing their call.
