One of my sheep is looking a bit poorly today. No obvious signs of anything wrong or flystrike but her ears are down and she's occasionally grinding her teeth.
Any suggestions before I call the vet? Or she goes down hill too quick! ????
Thanks in advance!

Have they been wormed?

Hope you have spoken to your vet , grinding teeth is a sign of pain/discomfort

Pen up, take temperature watch her and call vet. The more info you can give over the phone the better. Is she walking ok, poos, wees etc. Vet may be able to advise over phone. As said above grinding teeth is a sign of pain and being a prey species, if we can tell something is wrong with them then it's quite bad as prey always try to hide it for as long as possible.

They sometimes grind their teeth when they need working, which is why I asked.
Any progress Faye?

Still no improvement today, laboured breathing but still standing so vet is planned to come out this morning. Thanks all!
