Title: Ovine Conditioner - Would You Use?
Post by: supplies for smallholders on August 28, 2010, 01:33:59 pm
Hi,

Looking for opinions here.

We are thinking of stocking a new product to us Farmers Choice Ovine Conditioner

Details of it are here : http://www.coxagri.com/farmers-choice-nutritional-products/farmers_choice_ovine_conditioner/1/priorityascending/catalogue.html (http://www.coxagri.com/farmers-choice-nutritional-products/farmers_choice_ovine_conditioner/1/priorityascending/catalogue.html)

However, we would need to commit to buy a lot of these. The size will be 1 Litre and will retail at around £40.00 my question is: would this have any demand within the smallholder or medium size flock market (ie. yourselves).

Many Thanks

On first reading this I thought this was like a shampoo, a bit pricey for 40 quid... but it is nearly bedtime and two glasses of wine with dinner....

Anyway, I don't think I would commit 40 pounds to it, not after this year's vet's bills....

Regards, Anke

Have to agree with Anke, I would not buy it. I think good grazing and feeding with a mineral lick is all i want to do. I have never been into

expensive supplements for any of my animals, I think many of them are a total rip off.
