I have 11 / 12 week old pure breed chicks that i want to sell i have 3 white orpingtons,4 jersey black giants,2 silver susex (1 is a cockeral) 1 welish summer and a german valdrik ....not sure how you spell it anyway they are all hens apart from 1.The question is what kind of price do i put on them (per bird). Ive never done this before can anyone help ?

I sell Buff orpington chicks at £5 from Day old - 10 weeks, £15 from 10 weeks - POL, then £20 at POL
I sell all pure breed cockerels for £5 each.

I usually use the £1 per week plus £2 rule, so 12 week olds would be £14
I also sell pure breed cockerels at £5 each, if I can.
I would love to get hold of buff orp 9week old chicks for £5 each - I'd snap your hand off at that price!!

Sorry i would not let them go for £5 each like you said iam lookin to get £14-£15 each for em .Someone i know is coming to look at them he told me to let him know when there ready so he might have them.

I also think the price you can get will depend where you are, it can be a struggle round here to get people to buy anything other than hybrids at £8 each :o

Sorry - I add £1 per week too - I wouldn't let a 9 week old go for a fiver either! - 9 weeks is £9, unless 100% obviously a cockerel. As soon as they are sexed, pullets go for £15, cockerels for £5, then £20 at POL.
