We've got 2 'spare' Welsummer cockerels available - hatched in April this year :chook:
We're keeping one to replace our older breeding boy, but have 2 further ones available.
They were hatched at home and have been reared on grass from 6 weeks old. They are eating well (on growers still) and very active; as well as having lovely colourings already. They are from a dark-egg laying strain.
Pictures to follow!
We're on the Lancashire coast (north of Blackpool), but willing to potentially travel to get them new homes. Normally we eat our spares, bu these boys are lovely and I'd feel sad to use them as table birds.
