I use a guy called Wullie from near Anstruther and find him very reasonable. He deliversd to me as I buy a lot but you could always phone and ask him, tell him I gave you his details though. I will pm you his number.

thank you very much for that James, will call him tomorrow.

Cameron - With regards to prices of straw etc we got a letter saying our layers will be subject to a price increase as of 1st September.  So did a quick order to get in before then seems we will all have to stock pile and brace ourselves for increases.  Hoping for a better harvest next year!!  Already been to costco and bought 9kg of bread flour.....oh well if all else fails my chooks will get fresh bread everyday lol

Helen, try David at Feeds n Needs in Tilly - much cheaper, discount for CSSA members, and he'll also deliver - did you come here yesterday, there were so many people I didn't get to speak to everyone.

Also Tony at Pets Direct at teh Alloa Trade Centre in Bruce Street is less than that and has a loyalty scheme worth 5% - I just cashed in my first £5 - earned over 6 weeks.  he sponsored our latest newsletter
