Anyone know of anyone selling cheap small bales of straw please in fife area .

I use a guy called Wullie from near Anstruther and find him very reasonable. He deliversd to me as I buy a lot but you could always phone and ask him, tell him I gave you his details though. I will pm you his number.

Just gave him a phone £2 a bale if i pick them up

Just a heads up, straw prices are set to rocket up aswell as feed prices.

Cameron - With regards to prices of straw etc we got a letter saying our layers will be subject to a price increase as of 1st September. So did a quick order to get in before then seems we will all have to stock pile and brace ourselves for increases. Hoping for a better harvest next year!! Already been to costco and bought 9kg of bread flour.....oh well if all else fails my chooks will get fresh bread everyday lol :wave:

im paying just under £9 for 20kg bag ...any cheaper????????

Wow that expensive we sell our free range layers pellets for £6.80 a bag.

Helen, try David at Feeds n Needs in Tilly - much cheaper, discount for CSSA members, and he'll also deliver - did you come here yesterday, there were so many people I didn't get to speak to everyone.
Also Tony at Pets Direct at teh Alloa Trade Centre in Bruce Street is less than that and has a loyalty scheme worth 5% - I just cashed in my first £5 - earned over 6 weeks. he sponsored our latest newsletter
