Title: Wanted - cockerel

Looking for a young cockerel (2017 hatch) to look after 11 ladies ...in order of breed preference - Copper Maran (or any other kind of Maran), RIR or Light Sussex. No bantams though.


Location: Scottish Borders

Did you get your cockerel ?
I have a splendid mild mannered young  Ixworth x Scots Dumpie who is now related to all our hens and would be happy to swap.
We are near Coldingham.

Sorry but probably a no - I don't have any cockerel at the moment as the last one just keeled over a few weeks ago without any signs that anything was wrong. May just have to go for fertile eggs.
