Hi Anyone out there know what do do with lots of crab apples?

I would recomend jelly, but my chickens and pigs both go crazy for them right off the tree.

Thanks for ideas. I don't personally like any form of jam, I'm a savoury person!!! but I'll try some on my husband or even the chickens.

crab apples are very good for making jellies. They have a lot of pectin to help it set. you could use the jelly as a sweet base for savoury mixes such as mint jelly and such

Busy making Rowan & apple at the moment, the Rowans are particularly good this year, dont know what went wrong with all the Damsons tho!
