From another forum it appears Susan Shaw cooper aka dark brown eggs has sadly passed away
-
That is sad news. She was very, very knowledgable.

For those interested here is her web page http://www.darkbrowneggs.info (http://www.darkbrowneggs.info)
Lots of great information

This is sad news indeed :(
-
Oh no. :'(. She was very knowledgeable and very generous with her knowledge too. She’ll be missed.
-
Sad news indeed, I remember she was a regular contributer when I had more hens and ducks.
Then her mum died and she went off travelling?
I think she had been ill for some time,
May she rest in peace.
Unless of course she wants to carry on her travelling in another world. :)
-
So sorry to hear this. I enjoyed her posts.
-
Very sad indeed. :'(
-
Heaven rest her. She was a dear person :bouquet:

She got to experience her dream of loading up herself and her dog into her new van, and heading for the hills. I loved her stories and her poultry knowledge.
-
Very sad to read this, I caught up with her blog a few weeks ago and she mentioned there that she had a terminal diagnosis.
-
Very sad news. :(

Oh, that is sad to hear. I enjoyed hearing about her travels

Oh I'm so sad. I sent her some plants a few years ago and she sent me some dark brown eggs to hatch. I gave them to Bloomer to hatch as I didn't have the facilities to raise chicks at the time. I remember friends of mine in their caravan met her on the Applecross road with her Winnebago - not a match made in heaven. :roflanim: They were terrified she'd go over the edge. Fortunately she drove it well. She even took it on teh ferry as she wanted to see Orkney and Shetland. She had a huge dog called Phoebe, then later on a pup of the same breed.

I remember her selling everything up. She was lovely.

Hi all,
Has anyone else noticed that her World is my lobster blog seems to have disappeared ? I was wondering whether it was just me or not. I hope it isnt true as that would mean all her amazing stories and adventures will be lost :(
