Title: Blackberries

Any recipe idea's other than jam or crumble please  :)  have just sent 3 of my girl's out with a tub, loads of black berries at the moment!

bramble vodka/gin...
1 bottle alcohol 1/2 lb- 1lb bramble(blackberry)
1/2lb sugar all in a big jar  leave 6 months and strain.... or until xmas

you can use whisky or brandy as well :wave:

Deepest worcester-shoire.  we have hundreds of them!! have made crumble tonight (lost the incentive to do anything more adventurous) but they are even getting to the point where they are squidgy.

had a poor raspberry season but blackberries are going mad. must be the weird weather?

We've got loads of blackberries along the canals by us - Brummidgum we are  :D

There were loads in the Forest yesterday, but our brambles around the paddock are still flowering!

Like the bramble vodka recipe - but Lisa, do you really need any more alcohol?  ;) :P

If in doubt, freeze. Thats my motto. One day in the winter you might just fancy a spot of jam making or a nice crumble and there you are!
