While the weathers rubbish thought I might just share a couple of pics of the girlies starting to countdown to lambing !
I'm sure it'll be here in a flash for our Derybshire Gritstones !!!

Thanks for that and they aren't getting any hard yet and won't be for a while yet by how they're looking at the min :fc:
One in particular is looking heavily pregnant and definitely isn't due for another 7 1/2 weeks !

They look nice. What are D Gritstones like to handle and are they good to lamb. I always like the look of this breed.

They great - hardiest things I know, eat half the amount the texels used to and hold condition very well, generally fit, healthy and good mums. Thriftiest lambs too, I ran a gritstone tup over a few texels last year and the lambs were up before their mothers and we've now gone just pure Gritstones :)
