We have small bale hay for sale, about 160 - £2.50 each for quick sale - whatever amount you may need
-
Hi there. Is it this seasons or from last year?
-
Hi Fleecewife - it's this year's - not sure if thats good or bad!! I am no expert on hay - had a contrator do it for us - we worked out we need in the region of 200 bales for our sheep and goats and ended up with 360!!
-
Lucky you :) We are trying to get ours made, between rain showers and ever changing forecasts. It's looking good at the mo but who knows? Tomorrow is alternately supposed to be dry then heavy rain. I've never known the forecasts to be so wrong and changed so frequently. If this lot works we still have another half to cut and make. If it doesn't work, I may come back to you :)

Where are you????
-
Hi - We're just outside Maud AB42
-
Is it ryegrass or a mix of grasses?
-
Hi Clydesdaleclopper - sorry for my ignorance so this may not be correct but the top paddock I believe is ryegrass and timothy and the bottom area about 60 bales has more clover in it - I was just going to try out with the sheep and goats to see what they liked - the goats are so fussy probably wouldn't make any difference. Thank you for your interest - sorry for being a beginner!! Clare

Hi Clare
I would love some so will give you a phone tomorrow. Will see how many I can fit into a horsebox and the back of the landy.
Anna :)

Hi Anna - I'll be outside quite a bit tomorrow but will be 'here' as 2 pygmy kids leave tomorrow and 2 visitors for ducks sp if you don't get me on the phone - I'll pm my mobile no - all the best Clare

No worries. I just have to be very careful with my horses as they are all heavies and too much ryegrass can make them laminitic.

hi iwas just wandering if you still have some of your hay for sale :horse:
-
My friend at Alford is looking for small bales, can you pm me your phone number :)
-
Hi All - Yes we still have about 90 bales - 'Cairnhill' has been for 2 horsebox's full and she is quite happy with the quality - as I said I'm not an expert so would want to say something wrong - although I checked the area very carefully for ragwort so I'm sure it's ok on that score.
-
