Title: Senior pig
Post by: Tammy on January 01, 2018, 11:02:57 pm
Hi can anyone shed any light on why my senior - 11yrs old - Tamworth cross boar might have gone off his food. At first he wouldn't eat his pig nuts so I tried changing them, no luck. So I tried him with various things and he will now eat a couple of rounds of bread with jam or peanut butter and a couple of cooking apples or pears before going back to lie down on his bed as he is sleeping a lot more. Any advice or ideas on other things I could try feeding him with would be greatly appreciated.

You need a vet. He isn't eating for a reason. Is he drinking?

Vet.  At 11 years old it may be that his time has come.
