well I am not the actuall smallholder!! I have joined on behalf of one of my sons, who is so very keen, but he doesn`t use computers unless he really has to! He is busy outside. So as my name portrays I am grandmother to his children.
he is just trying his first batch of chicken hatching.  and the tension is immense,... so I was searching the web for some information.

Welcome to you - tell your son he is missing out.  You will love it on here.  Settle into your seat with a cup of tea and let your fingers do the work.

Let us know how the hatching goes!  We have 10 little ones running around with their mums at the moment, they are such fun to watch.
