I've decided 2018 is the year to make me happy so I'm getting chickens again :)
I had them years ago but we had slightly arsey neighbours so due to family pressure I relented and they went. Arsey neighbours are long gone so time for chickens back I think. I hate paying for eggs and I hate throwing away veggy peelings .. such a waste :D
So I have an eglu (saved from family) and I've earmarked myself a section of garden. Now to make the necessary steps for a pen for hatching in the spring. Friends have an incubator so I can even pick whatever kinda chickens I want :D
Leaning towards marsh daisies I think but I've got plenty of time to decide
