Hi shelia
thanks for getting in touch, i dont think the price is high i have reared all chickens from the egg :). which cost me more than your paying for a 1 yr old chicken, also ur lucky if you have a 50% hatch rate then some of these are cockerals:). these birds are in gr8 condition and laying well, but saying that i am open to offers but not £7.00:). you must post where you can get 11month hens at such a good price so that newbies dont get ripped of at markets or by breeders, as i have heard and know of folks paying £25 per bird?.
anyways thx again for getting in touch sheila.
John

I've looked at web-sites where they charge up to forty pounds for a P.O.L. pullet also I have seen them sold in our local market for six pounds!
