Well after a weekend of sawing, hammering and drilling I've finally created my raised beds. Standing back with a beer in hand (and calculator in the other) I realised that I have created 385sqft of growing space and haven't really grown anything seriously since I grew cress and mustard "back in the day"!
At this point it was lucky that I was sitting down otherwise I'd have been prompted to do so rather more quickly that I did originally.
Anyhoo, I sure it'll come good and have now just ordered a bucket load of seeds which I will either sew or feed to the chooks!
Any advice will be greatfully received.......

They look brilliant
What you could try is grow some green manury before you uses all the area?
or cover the bit you not using with black plastics ?Just to stop the weed
for the moment.
Then when you ready to discover the next bit you can remove it to start.
Hope this helps
