Bonjour from sunny South West of France..Actually I'm lying..it's pouring down but that's the first time for months so I'm not complaining !
My name is Katy..I'm English but have lived here for 10 years.I've been introduced to this wonderful site by Mark ..the brother of Dan ( Mark & Mo are staying in our gite with their boys on their hols) & as I'm really into a lot of crafts..ie. feltmaking, soap making & french country recipes..also have 3 hens & a french ginger moggy called George ...thought this would be a really fun thing to do. I haven't blogged before though so a bit green but really looking forward to sharing with you.

Thanks to everyone for making me so welcome ! I'm from the 46 dept.ie the Lot for anyone in France who might be interested !
I've been very busy lately cleaning gites & doing B&B here ..so haven't had much time for my crafts. Tomorrow though I hope to bottle some Vin de Cerise...or cherry wine made from the leaves of cherry trees + red wine & eau de vie. It's the first time I've made this & it should be ready to drink straight away. If I'm OK I'll let you know how it turns out.
