Hello,
As a result of changing circumstances (a new job, family commitments) we've taken the tough decision to sell our pigs. We just wont have the time to look after them properly, nor to carry out the butchery/curing/selling which has kept them viable over the past few years. I have various pigs for sale details are below. I'm not interested in a huge amount of money at all, just for them to go to someone who can make the most of them. If you make me any offer, no matter how stupid it seems I'm very likely to accept! All pigs were born outdoors and have spent all their life free range. All are electric fence trained and used to people
1 X GOS Boar c. 2.5 years old, fathered two litters.
1 x Large Black Sow c. 2 years old, one litter
1 x Middle White Sow, c.2 years old, one litter
1 x MIddle white/GOS cross Sow, one littler
6 x GOS/MIddle White Pigs - 4-5 months old
4 x Large Black pigs - c. 11 months old, ready for slaughter (3 gilts one boar).
Ideally I would like to keep back two of the large black slaughter weight pigs for ourselves. I am open to any offer from a good home, Ideally I'd like to move them on quickly as new job starts soon.
I can provide exact birth/ movement dates and photos if required.

I should probably qualify... I would accept offers below £500 for all the pigs. This is about finding them a good home/ someone who they will be useful too, rather than making money.

I should also point out I would be happy for the pigs to go in individual lots, just make me an offer and I will more than likely accept.
I have started a new job and am struggling to find the time, so a genuine request for someone who can make use of them to take them, not about the money.
