Title: Dog Training books - any recommendations?
Post by: Anke on September 24, 2017, 07:25:49 pm
Our Foxy is coming up for 11 and not doing too well (loosing the use of her hindlegs - probably degenerative myelopathy), so we are planning ahead of getting another puppy once we find that her quality of life is not OK anymore. Not having trained a puppy for the last 10 years - anyone got any recent publications of puppy training manuals that they recommend?

I gave a friend the Perfect Puppy by Gwen somebody (Bailey??), it seemed good when I skim read it but I didn't put it into practice. I like Victoria Stilwell's approach but don't know if she's published anything.

Cesar Milan can go live in a cave* and stop abusing animals, however.
