Title: Hello from Kentucky
Post by: debbieapple on September 04, 2017, 01:56:59 pm
Good Morning!  I'm a farmer in Kentucky and have been farming for about 25 years.  I raise sheep, beef cattle, dairy cattle, pigs, ducks, chickens, and bees.  I'm looking forward to spending some time poking around.

Hi and welcome to the group,
my first thoughts were - Ooh, hats interesting - Kentucky, it will be interesting to hear some of your farming tips and tricks, always happy to learn :-).
I'm down to just a few hens, gave up with ducks after stoats and fox visits.
Goats are steadily increasing faster than space.
I'd love to hear more about your animals and see a couple of photos?

Welcome from Wales.

We only have 6 sheep, 3 ducks and 3 chickens along with our bees. 2 pigs have just been sent to the abattoir.

Welcome from Cornwall debbieapple.
Hope you enjoy poking around the forum.  I often poke around US forums (but have yet to join one) and agricultural advisory sites.  Australian and New Zealand sites can also be very informative/interesting - the antipodeans are very innovative folk I find.
