Title: New to sheep

Hi Everyone - this looks a great site - very informative and clear. I've been keeping fattening cattle on my father in laws small farm for a number of years now, but I've decided to give sheep a go - though I'm a total novice. Looking forward to it and will be looking for advice and pointers along the way. Hopefully I'll be able to reciprocate one day!

Hi and welcome to the forum from Ceredigion  :wave: Great to have you aboard! :) Sounds great. What breed where you wanting to start off with keeping? I have, if you're interested, some breeding ewes for sale and ram lambs, an ideal starter flock... You're welcome to come take a look and have a chat if you like

You'll find sheep a lot more work than fattening cattle, but if you like 'em you won't mind that ;) :hugsheep:  (But make sure you get ones you do like, therefore! ;))

 :wave: Welcome from Shropshire. Sounds interesting from the point of view of a spinner. It'll be interesting to hear what you decide to go for.
