Title: Lambs with diarroea
Post by: DavidandCollette on August 27, 2017, 10:17:39 am
Suddenly two lambs have really bad runs. Used Crovect on them yesterday but can't find any contraindications on the fact sheet. Any ideas please?

One of mine was suddenly really messy, found a dollop with tapeworm in it, now dewormed!

Do you mean diarrhea or mucky back ends? Are these pet lambs?

we dont worm we do FECs and with rotation dont have a burdon.

Are you sure its come one now?  It could be mineral deficiency, change in grass, poor condition, stress?

Well, it stopped as quickly as it started! Must have been stress of handling, but working today to be on the safe side. Thanks for the support folks

With or without FEC? Without FEC and regular worming is the quickest way to wormer resistance. Don't worm unless you have a reason to  :-\
