Hi
So I've removed sponges this evening and given my ewes pmsg.
It's not till I'm back in the house I've think I've given them too little. Vet told me .3 but now I'm thinking he meant 1.3mls.
Ewes are Southdowns mainly.
Do I give them more in the morning or just suck it and see.
Feel pretty stupid now

Since time is of the essence, I'd try to look up a datasheet online (try searching on NOAH compendium (http://www.noahcompendium.co.uk/)) and go from there.
If you have messed it up then won't you have to give them the rest ASAP (i.e. now?) to avoid unintended consequences?
Edit: Did you find anything out? I was kinda hoping that somebody who actually knew what they were talking about might have come along with some proper advice by now! :innocent:

How did you get on then, and what did the vet say?
I just had an email from our vet to say that PMSG would be unavailable this year, and to contact them for details of alternative strategies!

Well rang vets and I'm still waiting for my reply!!!
I just hoping that as they went to the ram this time last year. It'll go ok with what I've done.
I've got a whole unused bottle here ????
So cross, running about after work to do it blinking wrong anyway.

Some people don't bother to use PMSG and get good results. Some people use PMSG and get poor results. The average dose is 2.5ml. It isn't guaranteed. We have sponged and jabbed with mixed results. Don't count your lambs until you are selling them at auction is what my neighbour says. You know for next time. What sort of sheep?
