Title: Never satisfied
Post by: pharnorth on August 09, 2017, 04:50:16 pm
After months of complaining of lack of rain I would now like your sympathy as it is bucketing down and has been all day and the animal feed around will wait no longer. Please send me ill deserved messages of sympathy to read when I return in about an hour.  I appreciate all the Northern, Western, and Good People of Scotland will be astonished by my lack of robustness but we are not used to it round here.

Sick of being wet here,
in field today sounded like I was walking in a bog.
  waterproof jacket isn't waterproof  :(.

But at least it's been dry today, goats out all day.

I completely sympathise, been there before with weather conditions, not nice. We had lovely hot weather, prayed for rain and now it won't really stop, albeit a few dry days here and there. It's been a nightmare for hay making and gardening. Tbh with you I wonder whether we have had our summer... :(
