HI ALL !!!
A friend of mine has some nice variegated Broom in their garden .. :)
and I have noticed various types on my travels as a bus driver .. ;D
Now I need to create a hedge between our garden and the front paddock
and fancied doing it in a variety of coloured broom.......
QUESTION !!!!
do I take cuttings ?...or.....take seed ..and how should i go about it ???
I have plenty of area to set out pots ...might need about 70 plants....
ps WHEN should I do it ????
thanks

I don't think they are particularly fast growing so it might take a while doing it from cuttings. So it depends how soon you need your hedge. There are however websites where you can buy in bulk at fairly reasonable costs.

Just dug one up in my garden it had gone very tall but more like a tree than a bush, was never very sure about pruning it!
