Title: North Wales Smallholder?
Post by: moelview on July 07, 2017, 12:03:48 pm
Hello!

I'm a natural dyer looking to have my own limited edition yarn spun from local fleeces.

I'm based in Mold, N. Wales and would be very interested to know what kind of sheep you keep & availability of the fleece. I'm not looking for huge quantities, as this will be a blend. Hopefully something very unique, a woolly reflection of North Wales. Also, if there is a thread or group which you think would be better suited to this topic, please let me know! Thank you!

Hi,
I'm near Llanidloes, have shetland and bowmont sheep and angora goats.  Can get various other fleeces from local farms,  I've got a few shearling BFL atm.
I'm also into natural dyeing, spinning weaving and other textile crafts, although time is against me just now.
Try the crafts section of this forum too, several spinners there.
