Title: Few Broody Pics
Post by: Dave C on July 05, 2017, 12:10:18 pm
Let one of my Broodies out with her chicks this morning.
Was a bit wet but they were just pleased to be out.

I find the Laced Wyandottes aren't a particularly broody breed but when they do go they make excellent mothers.  We have one now with a couple of Wyandotte and four Speckled Sussex chicks and she's turned from laid-back-chicken to rip-your-arm-off-chicken.
