Title: Scots Grey Hens wanted in Scotland (South Lanarkshire)
Post by: lintmill on June 18, 2017, 11:38:44 am
Hi

Does anyone know of breeders for the above  that are based in Scotland? We are based in South Lanarkshire so ideally someone not too far but we would be willing to travel within reason......

Many Thanks

We got ours from Kintaline near Oban.  Looking at their website http://www.kintaline.co.uk/ (http://www.kintaline.co.uk/)  it's not obvious if they still sell them.  It would be worth contacting them just in case, or she may know of someone who still does her line.  She bred her Scots Greys for production not show.  And if she does have any, it's a lovely drive up

afaik she no longer has any. the FB page is your best bet-I expect breeders might be willing to deliver to one of the local shows if they're going. Ask if Cummings or Rory Innes have any available-they are about the best. I used to breed them but no longer have an SG cock and only a couple of 2/3 yo hens left.
