HOW TO CLEAN THE HOUSE
1. Open a new file in your PC..
2. Name it 'Housework.'
3. Send it to the RECYCLE BIN.
4. Empty the RECYCLE BIN.
5. Your PC will ask you,
'Are you sure you want to delete Housework permanently?'
6. Calmly answer, 'Yes' and press mouse button firmly...
7. Feel better?

Brilliant, if only it was that easy. :)
-
yes, that's what I do !!!!
(or at least, thats what it looks like. oh to be a domestic goddess!!)
;)

Trouble is when your house is your business and open to all you HAVE to keep it clean!!!! one no stop never ending task for me :( but most of the time I love it ;)
-
I like housework too ... am i deranged ???
-
I run my own business (a law firm) and spend all my free time on my child, my chickens, garden and veggie plot so my house is a complete mess! (By some people's standards i.e my sisters who don't work) Something's got to give ... who cares. I do the basics ( dishes, washing , loos, hoovering once a week only ) but beyond that ..... ?!?! Life is too short to be anal about housework.
I love this site. No filtering for bad language! lol ;D ;D

Sandy - you should come round to our place for an afternoon. The change would be better therapy for you than a spa day! :D
-
My brother doesnt visit cos he says I live in a pig sty ....... BLISS ;D
-
I would definitely take that as a compliment Hilarysmum  :pig:
-
Aw thanks .... :D

Me too Am just the same.Kath insists on clearing up after me.She won't let me mend the engines on the dinner table though :farmer:
-
Valr I am with you on this one.
ALthough I dont run a busy law firm I am always busy outside, whether it is at work (Carriage Driving Centre) of with my own horses, animals or veg plot.
Essentials get done but am not OTT about it.
BUT, as its pouring down today and as I have done all outside jobs for this morning, riding or driving my horse is postponed, I suppose I could get stuck in and at least try to find where OH stashed the hoover!!
Or I could do the ironing or is that another thread in itself????
-
Hello P Welcome I didn't notice P 1 asleep no doubt as usual ;D Hello Vair Hows the WX your way it still hasn't rained here Its not good for me COPD roll on winter is what I'm saying I don't want a foot of snow and Ice and frost but a nice 16/18 degrees C would be most welcome with some rain. Its very dry here in North Lincs I think there is bad language and BAD LANGUAGE There is no need for the latter but blood hell its hot is a need Eh! :farmer:

Hoovering........Ironing.....another cup of tea? Tough choice!! Weather not very nice here either and outside jobs are all done so as I did not get in from work until about 2 am decided on another cup of tea.
-
It is raining with gale force winds here!! The chickens are staggering about sideways looking miserable ;D
Plan for today is to bottle up some cider made from a kit (an experiement by my hubbie - it will probably be disgusting but he is quite excited about it!) and DO HOUSEWORK!! I may even WASH some floors!! :o :o And there is a mountain of clean laundry to sort and put away. Ironing it would be a step TOO far ....

....what is this "Ironing" people keep talking about? never heard of it, let alone done any!!!!
-
I learned a long time ago to fold and smooth instead of taking clothes from the line and bundling them into a basket. No ironing for years!
-
Hey up you lasses I don't go any where so I don't iron any thing Kath ironed me a shirt to go to our 50yr wedding celebration party last year Before that I cannot remember.Maybe our oldest sons cremation. I am into T shirts and crimps never had but one pair of jeans I didn't like the stiff rough things.and shoes with steel toe caps Good for kicking things ;D never had a pair of trainers either. ;D :farmer:
-
George give yourself a treat and get a pair of trainers! Really comfy ...
-
Hello Vair It is a nice thought now but don't think I am daft will you I once saw a lad drop a spade lug tractor wheel and it landed across his end of foot and toes he had to have his big toe removed because it shattered it.Maybe today the surgeons would be able to fix it but not in 1958 they didn't.My next pay day I went into Hall's and bought my self a pair of steel toe capped shoes never without now, I wear this sort of shoe everyday I am sure I would not drop anything on my feet now I am to feeble to lift anything heavy to do so.BUT.They are very usefull for kicking the dog etc;! :-[
