Title: sheep shearer needed for 4 sheep in Carmarthenshire

I'm looking for someone to shear my four pet sheep in the Llandeilo/Lampeter area. The person who has done them for the past few years doesn't do it anymore and I want to find someone who is kind and will be able to come to us to do it. I am happy to buy clippers if necessary. Many thanks

Best thing to do would be to contact your local farmers, see if they will let you slip your four in at the end of one of their shearing days.

It is unlikely that you'll get anyone to come to you for just four sheep.

If you have a local smallholding group see if there is someone else near you who also needs thier doing. If you book for the same day it makes it better for the Shearer.  Did that last year for our six.

2Spencers ... cant help directly with you problem but do you know about the Talley and Cwmdu smallholders group which meets at Cwmdu (near Talley) once a month? .... We have a facebook page.

Hi have you tried popping into CCF in felin fach or wynnstay, they will know who the local sheep farmers / small holders are and probably put you in touch with them.  They are a friendly bunch at CCF so should beable to point you in the right direction.
