Title: Baby spiders
Post by: zwartbles on May 10, 2017, 12:32:27 pm
Pin-head size baby spiders basking in the sun after the frost had cleared (6am). What do they find to eat when they are this small?

I don't think they need to eat for quite a while. They live off whats left in their stomachs from when they were in the egg sac. I think they moult and after that they look for food.

Nice pic Zwartbles.  While still tiny, they will spin their gossamer threads and float away on the breeze.
