Title: WANTED - spruce, larch or pine cordwood/trunks near Aberfoyle, Stirlingshire

Hello folks,
 
We are looking to buy 12 lengths of spruce, larch or pine cordwood/trunks for a rustic building project.  Ideally between 3-3.5m in length and 15-20cm in diameter.  We've tried all the usual forestry firms, but the minimum they'll deliver is half a lorry load!
 
If you have an area of woodland within 50 miles or so from Aberfoyle, we would gladly travel to you, fell the trees ourselves, and make arrangemens to collect the wood.  We'll even chop up the remaining branches for firewood, and leave the area looking presentable afterwards.
 
Or maybe you've had a lorry load of spruce delivered and have some spare that you'd be willing to sell?

Have you tried https://www.pwecramb.co.uk/, (https://www.pwecramb.co.uk/,) in Gargunnock? Surely they would sell you some if you could handle the transport arrangements?

Thanks everyone for all your posts and PMs - we've now found a local source of cordwood/tree trunks that will fulfil all of our needs.
