something really weird that happened today. Husband and I were outside having a snooze in the shade. It was absolutely boiling hot. There wasn't a breath of wind and the only sound was of the hens clucking. Very relaxiong.
Suddenly, from out of nowhere, came a tornado which blew His hat off and almost took his sunbed. It lasted about half a minute and no sooner had we gathered ourselves then it was gone, leaving two pensioners gasping in it's wake! Never in 64 years have I experienced anything like it!

WOW That must have been scary. Everyone ok?

We had something like that this morning, but quite a tornado - gone almost before it arrived! Rain with it too, then it dried up almost instantly. Weird.

I remember about 5. Yrs ago getting a phone call from hubby who was working in an empty flat in a bham tower block. He was full of tales of the sky going black over brum and how this tornado had hit. Now me being a cynic thought yeah yeah dear you've had a pint at lunch time and a spot of bad storms has become a tornado.. Seems I was wrong :-)) worse tornado to hot the uk for years lol!
