Has anyone had any experience in using verm-x for worming lambs?  I am keen to use 'natural' products and would love to hear from anyone who has used it.  Our lambs live with a pygmy goat and the Verm-x for sheep covers goats too, so it would be very handy!  Am also wondering what else I need to do for my two orphaned pet lambs - apart from worming them?!  Should I be treating them for anything else?   Thanks  ;D

I use verm x for my goats and sheep.  Although do use "proper" wormers too.  A friend uses the horse one, and says her worm count is very low, when she uses the test.  But, we have had problems with my two older goats, and a worm burden.  my vet said he did not think verm x works, and I should use one of the other wormer all the time.

Like you, I prefer to use a natural product if at all possible, so I am a bit on the fence so to speak, as to what to do re the verm x.

Hi,

Verm X does work, but more as a control to prevent build up. If you have a heavy worm burdon already then you should use a stronger wormer either by oral drench or injection.

Are the lambs as pets or for the freezer?

Consider treating them with Heptevac or Ovivac and of course keep on top of the flystrike prevention!
