Title: freezer capacity question
Post by: banbh on June 23, 2010, 11:42:57 am
Now I must confess an addiction. I like Lidl and Aldi and their offers! They have an 85 litre freezer on the way
for €130.
I wonder how much of a 75kg liveweight pig this would take?

Anyone butcher a similar pig? How many freezer litres did it take?

Boned out, headless and trotterless not a lot of space at all.  I know thats not helpful, I squeezed 3  85 av. lw pigs into a freezer about that size.  Took some packing though.
