Hi everyone, I hope this is ok to post.
I have a bale of haylage (my local farmer supplies me them for my horses). I get a bale at a time and unfortunately this bale has a lot of haylage that is too rich for my horses (its more moist in areas and therefore too sweet / rich for them). I wouldn't say it is as rich as silage. It is real meadow grass and has the odd docken through the bale.
I have bagged the haylage that is too rich and before I take it to the dump I wondered if it is any use to anyone locally - would be great for any beasties that / can eat this type of food.
Please get in touch if anyone would like to make use of it.
Thanks.

How much is there of it? I'm just past Huntly and my sheep would probably like it.

Hi, I have bagged it into feed bags (hi fi size bags) - there are around 20 bags. A small trailer would adequate to take it.
