I went out this morning to let my chickens out and spotted one of my Warrens already out. She appears to have the runs and is very slow on her feet. Other than that she's ok. I've separated her and she's eating a little and drinking, her eyes are bright but she's not moved much all day. Any ideas?

Poor wee ting dot a tore tummy ::) If she's eating and drinking, especially drinking, she will probably be fine.
-
Unfortunately not, she passed away this afternoon. She wasn't THAT bad this morning, just a little off colour. Shame.

thats how our warrens go - "Just like that" poor things, better than suffering for days...
Definitely a shame Sam

Shame, Sam. I found one dead in the nestbox. She was fine in the morning; when I went to get eggs at lunchtime, she was in the box and I thought "her comb colour's not very good", so I prodded her and she was dead, and ex-hen. It was a real Monty Python moment.

Found one dead on the nest box today no sign of what caused it but she was one of my older birds so perhaps it was just old age!

Very sad. We found one of ours that hatched last October. She was unusual as she was small, black and fluffy. She had been missing for a couple of weeks and we wondered if she had escaped and was sitting on eggs just like her two sisters. But my husband found her yesterday. She was his favourite. She seemed fine 2 weeks ago so we wonder if a rat got her or a crow.

Shame, I've got one poorly today, hardly moving about, bright yellow runs and keeps closing its eyes if it does come out. I'm hoping it's just a bit down after getting a soaking for most of the day yesterday.
