I have a varied bunch of hens - mostly of the larger varieties - two or three of which are very good broodies. My cockerel got munched and his replacement seems to have no lead in his pencil !!
Does anyone have a nice chunky young cockerel who will do the biz for my ladies? Any standard breed or cross will do so long as he is fit and healthy !!

We hatched some eggs after christmas.The only Silver Laced Wynadotte that hatched was a cock(Barney) He would love a new home with his own girls.We are in Stone.Just outside Stafford.Free to good home and could arrange to meet you somewhere if your interested.

We're just south of Shrewsbury and have a Geooorgeous Indian Game cockerel. Last years, very placid with me and the kids, just doesn't like his brother. He was going for Coq O Van.

Perhaps we should have a "cockerel" thread? A special place to advertise cockerels for rehoming and wanted. Although I suspect there are more for rehoming of the two.
I have a couple of nice buff laced x cockerels running around, that could do with rehoming if anyone is near enough to me and wants one!!

I am sorry I have had a manic few days and haven't been able to get near my computer.
Who knew there were so many love-starved cockerels out there! I have an offer of one from 3 miles away so I will go for that, I feel really bad to leave the others behind :'( thanks for all your relplies! Wow :wave:
