:&>I sell my hen eggs from our gate and my ducks are now laying well too.  Am wondering what sort of price to charge for 6 very free range duck eggs?   ???

Lisa I sell my duck eggs for £1.50 per 1/2 dozen. I am told that that is quite cheap but any more I think would be too expensive.

Thanks for the responses.  Am going to experiment at £2 for 6 as they are a lot bigger than the hen eggs!  Will see if people are happy to pay that for them?!  ;)

I easily get £1.50  for 6 chicken or quail eggs.
Some of our chook eggs are HUGE, sometimes double yolkers.... and people can come and see the hens & how spoilt they are!

I'd go for £2 for duck eggs too...

Hi we have been selling our duck eggs for £1.50 as well, although we have lots of customers who tell us that it more than reasonable.....

We have only started recently and have started to keep account of the food costs, egg production etc. so we can see what selling the eggs covers and if there is a profit at the end of the month or not...
