I would think any dead meat would do the trick would it not? Good luck, heres hoping you are successful.

This might help - they say of dead bait doesn't work to use live but I'm not sure of the ethics of that

A bit barbaric that suggestion Annie, not for the faint hearted like me I'm glad to say. :)

Nonsense to say live trap it and "take it somewhere else". So just give someone else the problem? If you trap it, you have to be prepared to kill it or get someone else to kill it promptly.

I didn't write that website - I just googled fox trap. So I don't necessarily agree with what it says. I still think shooting them is the best option.

I wasn'y having a go at you Annie, it was meant at the web site. I agree with you shoot the buggers - all of them!

Ok, no problems. Just making clear how I feel about foxes especially after those twin babies being mauled. Dogs doing that get put down for that, and foxes are far from being domesticated!

anything dead n the smellier the better water fowl always bring em in (i keep old 1s that died or road kill in the freezer) but rabbits or pheasants will do keep ur eyes open for roadkill good luck pal> Foxes wer the bane of my life for a couple of years no matter how well u lock up ur birds the find a way in or just take em through the day its not the nicest thing but as long as u check ur trao as often as possible (at least twice a day by law) an dispatch it quickly and humanely its the best way i even use the hides for hats and lures for birds of prey
