I am looking forward to getting a few sheep sometime in the future and was wanting to know if there were any gd books out there which i may find useful as i am looking to do as much research as possible!! Any advice would be greatly appeciated. :farmer:

Tim Tyne's The Sheep Book for Smallholders. Excellent, covers all you need to know, I wish it had been available when I first kept sheep.

Once you have got the sheep, it might be advisable to get a veterinary one, I have got the following ones too (and use them regularly):

Agnes Winter " Lameness in Sheep" (explains all you need to know about limping sheep for the small scale sheep keeper)

Agnes Winter and Judith Charnley " The sheepkeeper's veterinary Handbook"
