Title: Muck heap

I clear out the goat shed every couple of weeks and wanted to make a new pile - is it OK to put it within the area the goats are?  At the moment we have to wheelbarrow it quite a way and it would be so much nicer if i only had to go to the corner of the field!!

You will probably find that they will dance on it, sleep on it and generally make it a mucky place rather than a muck heap!  Mine would anyway!   ;D

My muck heap is in the goat paddock. The heap was there first next to the veg plot and then the goats arrived. They dont go near it, not even to play on it.
